Terms and conditions of use

1. General provisions

This website is owned by LIKE HOME S.R.L., IDNO 1024600038646. By placing an order (booking) in the online store, the Buyer accepts these Terms and Conditions, based on the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.

Use of the website implies acceptance of the Terms and Conditions proposed by LIKE HOME S.R.L., in accordance with Law no. 284/2004 on Electronic Commerce. The relationship between the client and the provider is governed by Law no. 105/2003 on Consumer Protection and related regulations.

The provider reserves the right to amend these Terms; the Buyer must monitor changes published on this page.

2. Personal data protection

By using https://vps.likehome.md, you agree to the collection and processing of personal data necessary to process, confirm, and fulfil orders.

Personal data is processed only for legitimate purposes: providing the booked accommodation, booking-related communications, site security, analytics (if you accept analytics cookies), and, where applicable, marketing with your consent.

Personal data is stored and used for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with Law no. 133/2011 on personal data protection.

We use security measures to prevent unauthorised access and ensure proper use of information. Data transmission over the internet cannot be fully protected; therefore some operations are carried out at the user's own reasonable risk.

3. Order registration and payment

Bookings are made online by completing the required details and accepting these Terms and Conditions. Payment options:

• Pay online by card — via the secure maib e-commerce service (bank page). After payment you will receive payment confirmation by email. An online discount of 5% may apply. Transaction currency: MDL.
• Pay at check-in — full amount on arrival (cash or card), without the online discount.

Online payment is made under maximum security using a payment card. maib uses the 3D-Secure security standard: you may be redirected to the secure maib page where cardholder authentication uses a one-time code for the online transaction.

Refunds are made only to the payment card used for the purchase, via maib, within usual banking timeframes.

For online payment, card details are entered exclusively on the secure maib page; LIKE HOME S.R.L. does not collect or store card number, CVV/CVC, or other sensitive card data. Information is transmitted encrypted to the payment system.

Payment may require: card number (16 digits), expiry date, CVC/CVV code (3 digits), and name on card. If your card currency differs from MDL, your issuing bank's conversion terms apply.

4. Provision of accommodation services

After order (booking) confirmation, the Client receives stay details by email: booked property, check-in → check-out period, guest count, and access instructions.

The service consists of making the apartment available at the address indicated in the confirmation for the booked period. Access is usually self check-in; codes and practical details are sent before arrival (including via check-in reminder email).

Standard check-in and check-out times are communicated in the booking confirmation and may vary slightly by property. Payment beneficiary for services sold on this site: LIKE HOME S.R.L..

Service delivery may be affected in exceptional situations (force majeure, unforeseen technical issues, etc.); we will inform you in advance if such situations arise.

5. Booking cancellation and payment refund

Short-term accommodation services are personalised (confirmed period and apartment). Cancellation and refund apply under the conditions below, in the spirit of consumer protection (Law no. 105/2003).

Online paid bookings (maib): full refund of the online amount is possible if cancellation is requested at least 24 hours before check-in time (00:00 on check-in day). Below this deadline, refund is not automatically guaranteed; exceptional cases are reviewed individually.

Pay-at-check-in bookings: cancellation releases the booked period; there is no online amount to refund.

6. Privacy policy

In accordance with Law no. 133/2011, LIKE HOME S.R.L. processes personal data in good faith, on legal grounds and in compliance with applicable provisions. Processing uses automated and manual means, respecting security and confidentiality requirements.

We collect data provided when placing an order: name, email, phone, booking details (period, guest count). Data is used to administer the site, fulfil the booking, stay-related communications, and, where applicable, analytics or marketing only with your consent.

We do not disclose personal data to third parties without your consent, except as required by law or necessary for payment processing (e.g. maib). We do not collect card transaction details (card number, expiry, issuing country) — these are processed exclusively by maib.
